We are so excited!

Hello Santa Barbara! Welcome to The Campsite by Kidcamp!

Fellow parents and caregivers, we’re thrilled to kick off our journey with you on The Campsite, Kidcamp's official blog. For those of you just joining us, allow us to share our story.

In the midst of a mid-January thunderstorm, while parked outside Whole Foods, two moms—Ashley W. Hollister & Sarah Corliss—found themselves deep in conversation. Amidst the chaos of parenting, maintaining friendships, staying healthy, and balancing life's demands, the looming task of registering our kids for summer camps felt like another thunderstorm on the horizon.

Surprisingly, our search for local resources yielded no satisfying results. Gone were the days of reliable platforms like SBParent.com, leaving a noticeable void in our valiant quest for valuable and engaging community connections. Thus, Kidcamp was born from a desire to fill this gap, offering a comprehensive platform to ease the lives of parents like us.

With our blog, The Campsite, our aim is to curate a diverse array of content that resonates with the daily struggles and joys of parenting in Santa Barbara County. Expect to discover expert insights, local spotlights, family-friendly activities, and so much more.

Through this blog, we aspire to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where information is shared, stories are told, and bonds are forged. Whether you're seeking advice on birthday parties, school selections, or weekend getaways, The Campsite is your go-to resource.

As we embark on this exciting adventure, we invite you to join us! Follow us on Instagram @officialkidcamp and drop us a DM, or shoot us an email at hello@kidcamp.co. Your feedback, questions, and recommendations are not only welcome but integral to shaping the future of Kidcamp and The Campsite.

With enthusiasm and gratitude,

Team Kidcamp 🏕️❤️
